The date of foundation date could not be ascertained. Records dated 20 C, 1310 (January 9, 1893) show that the teacher Abdülhalim Effendi was given a pay raise (BOA, MF.MKT, 157/108). On 19 C, 1315 (November 15, 1897) the teacher, Abdülhalim Effendi, was also made a calligraphy teacher (BOA, MF.MKT, 375/33). Records show that if no graduates of the Dersaadet School for Male Teachers could be found to take the teaching assignment that would take place on 20 S, 1323, at the Junior High School, the classes would be divided into two groups and religious Studies would be assigned to a native teacher and Science classes would be assigned to a teacher who had graduated from the Junior High School (BOA, MF.MKT, 849/61). Ahmed Hilmi Effendi was appointed as a teacher on 2 B, 1323 (September 2, 1905), (BOA, MF.MKT, 879/19) and on 16 Ra, 1324 (May 10, 1906) permission was requested for Hilmi Effendi to go to Ankara for a holiday (BOA, MF.MKT, 926/91). On 20 R, 1325 (June 2, 1907) records indicate a request for funds for repairs to the Junior High School (BOA, MF.MKT, 996/59). Records dated 12 M, 1327 (February 3, 1909) concern the placement of teachers (BOA, MF.MKT, 1098/57). On 12 S, 1327 (March 5, 1909) records indicate an official letter was written concerning the delivery of certain books to Mustafa Effendi, the Religion and Language teacher (BOA, MF.MKT, 1105/2). A record dated 1 Ra, 1327 (March 23, 1909) concerns a teacher named Ahmed Hamdi Effendi (BOA, MF.MKT, 1109/53).
