Karantina Square Fountain

The fountain is near Rhodes Harbour, adjacent to the outside walls of Murad Reis Tomb and Cemetery. It faces the Karantina - as in its old name - Kunturyoti Square as its recent name. It's built on the same Square with the Karantina Building and named after it in 1840. In its inscription it is indicated that the fountain was built by Hamdi Bey in 1846 to serve the Karantina inhabitants. Although the water of the fountain doesn't flow, it is well kept.
