Ummuhan Water Fountain

It's located in Kandilli (Tria) village. The village is one of the three villages which had a population composed of all Turks till close dates. According to the census in 1831, there were 71 Turks living in the village. Apart from the Ummuhan water fountain, it's established that the school was built in Ottoman period. The place where the fountain was located used to be an important excursion spot for the villagers on Sundays. Two stepped stair is used to reach the fountains base, which stays near a great plane tree. The fountain is adjacent to the wall and has a rectangle plan. It has an arched niche in the middle of its front. The one tapped panel stone is placed inside the niche above. The panel stone is decorated with still life, floral and geometric motifs. The fountain still functions today.
