The fountain is adjacent to Enderun (Kantorin) Mosque as it was called in the Ottoman period, today serves as Virgin Church. Since the one who had built the fountain cannot be determined; it's called by the Mosque's name nearby. There are two inscriptions on the fountain. On one of them, there is a verse of the Koran; and on the other one, the date 1880 is seen. The fountain which is adjacent to the wall is measured 1.83m. x 0.98m. The water from the fountain is still flowing and is drinkable.
