Sheikh Sinan Effendi Tomb

“He was born near Edirne in the area near the Ergene Bridge. He is a person who, after falling in love with the divine, completed his education with Sheikh Mehmed Kırımî in the Black Sea city of Varna and then obtained the position in Trikala at the Ghazi Omer Bey Mosque. All of Rumelia was like his own people. He was buried in the garden of his Dervish Lodge. Famous with his nickname Sinânî, he was a refined and truthful religious man. He had seventy thousand followers in the province of Rumelia”
